Celeste Amarilla is censored on CNN for linking Cartes to the murder of prosecutor Pecci

Celeste Amarilla, a national deputy for the PLRA, was invited to participate in the program Conclusions on the international chain CNN. The broadcast occurred around 10 p.m. on Wednesday.

The legislator was giving her point of view on the attack that ended the life of prosecutor Marcelo Pecci in Cartagena, Colombia.

“Marcelo Pecci died due to circumstances that there are people who know and people who do not know. What I am going to say is what we believe happened. We believe that they are trying to turn Paraguay into a “narco-democracy.” And democratize drug trafficking”, he stated at the beginning of the interview.

Later, he stated that two levels should be established, the level of drug trafficking, the sale of cocaine that comes from Colombia and Europe. And the minor loads on the other hand. In other words, what comes from Europe and Colombia cannot be touched, only the small loads that come from other points.

“Yes, to persecute the small loads of drugs and we are going to leave docile prosecutors and policemen who lend themselves to this plan. That is the meta-message that we understand, why it happened in Colombia and why they put it in the United States”, he affirmed.

At one point, the legislator began to link Horacio Cartes, former President of the Republic, with organized crime, to which the driver, Fernando del Rincón,

“With all the responsibility, we were here to talk about the murder of Marcelo Pecci. Not for political campaigning. I know it is his responsibility. You are trying to link former President Cartes with the violence installed in Colombia and I cannot allow it. I know that there are investigations against former President Cartes, but your statements linking him to the murder of a prosecutor, I cannot allow a deputy, I am very sorry, I have to fire you, because that was not what the interview was about, “said the journalist before cut note.

In the end she was contacted again but only for a friendlier goodbye. Although they no longer allowed the legislator to continue explaining her point of view.
