Calls for the Competitive Fund for Culture (FCC) and the Regional Fund for Culture (FRC) are open.

It is a call addressed to artists and creators of culture. It is postulated by presenting a single project of artistic/cultural creation within one of the seven competitive categories: Visual Arts; Photography; Dance; Theater, circus art and puppetry; Music; Video game; Editorial proposals.
The Emerging or Professional profile must be selected and the juries of the categories, according to this, will evaluate the projects discriminating them according to each profile.
The Emerging profile is those artists, creators of culture and groups with a career that does not exceed five years in the artistic sector and the Professional profile is artists, creators of culture and groups that have five or more years of recognized artistic career.
For the 2022 edition of the FCC, it has an allocation of $18,600,000 (Uruguayan pesos eighteen million six hundred thousand) to select artistic and cultural projects throughout the national territory, distributed among the selected projects in each category.
Applications for the FCC are received until Monday, June 27 at 5:00 p.m.
Regional Fund
It is a public call per year directed exclusively to artists and makers of culture residing in the different regions of the interior of the country. The projects will have as main requirement that the Legal Responsible person resides in the application region. The application regions, in this edition, are seven.
It is postulated by presenting a single artistic/cultural project from any department of Uruguay, except Montevideo. They must be included in one of the five categories that make up this call. The categories are: Visual Arts; Dance; Memory and traditions; Music; Theater, circus art and puppets.
For this year, the total amount allocated to the Regional Fund for Culture is $8,400,000 (Uruguayan pesos eight million four hundred thousand).
Applications for the FRC are received until Monday, August 1 at 5:00 p.m.
