Juan Carlos Vera, governor of Guairá, appeared together with his lawyer “Lalo” Villalba, before the Chamber of Deputies. The answers were not convincing.
They affirmed that they delivered more than G. 6000 million to officials, resources from the emergency law without any type of authorization from the Comptroller.
Rocío Vallejo, national deputy for the PPQ, questioned the double billing in the lights of the Guaireña FC stadium. This also could not be answered by Vera.
Now it remains to be defined when the intervention request could be dealt with before the plenary session of the Lower House.
