In contact with the GEN channel of Grupo Nación Media, the Colombian ambassador, Fernando Sierra, repudiated the murder of the prosecutor against Organized Crime, Marcelo Pecci, in Cartagena.
The diplomat indicated that after what happened all the alarms were activated for the investigation process. In this sense, he confirmed that the collaboration of the intelligence agencies of the United States will be obtained to find those responsible for the act.
On the other hand, he mentioned that there is a protocol in which security accompaniment is requested in advance for the authorities that go to Colombia, but in this case of prosecutor Pecci there was no requirement.
Likewise, he mentioned that the preliminary information available from the scene of the incident is that a coastguard noticed what happened and when trying to react he was also injured, but it was not serious.
