The mayor of Recoleta, Daniel Jadue (PC), questioned the government again about the eviction ordered yesterday by the presidential delegate of Biobío, Daniela Dresdneragainst the subcontractor workers of the National Oil Company (ENAP), who maintained the accesses to the refinery of the company located in the region, demanding labor improvements.
Jadue wrote on his Twitter account that “the seditious truck drivers are treated with white gloves and a willingness to dialogue, but the workers who fight for fair labor demands are brutally repressed.”
“Something is wrong in these days of hope and expectations of transformation,” emphasized the mayor of Recoleta.

Earlier, at 4:25 p.m., the community chief expressed his “solidarity” with the unemployed workers. “They have been on strike for 1 week. I call on ENAP to initiate the dialogue that has been unnecessarily delayed. Better pay and working conditions are urgently needed to close the gaps,” he said.

Let us remember that ENAP warned last Friday about a soon fuel shortage in case the workers’ strike continues.
“This is an unprecedented situation for the company and we have given the corresponding notice to the authority, informing that within 5 days from today, the National Oil Company does not have a supply of gasoline, diesel and domestic kerosene for heating. in the Biobío Region and the southern part of the country,” they said in a statement.
