Federal government goes to the United States in search of investors

A delegation of the Brazilian government is this week in New York, in the United States, to try to attract investors to the concessions of the Port of Santos, Congonhas Airport and Brazilian highways. The Brazilian delegation has representatives from the Ministries of Infrastructure, Economy, Foreign Affairs and the National Bank for Economic Development (BNDES).

According to the Minister of Infrastructure, Marcelo Sampaio, who leads the Brazilian delegation, the objective is to publicize the 44 assets that the federal government intends to grant to the private sector this year, with investments estimated at around R$ 110 billion.

According to the Ministry of Infrastructure, R$ 44 billion are planned for investments with the auction of highways in Paraná, another R$ 16 billion with the privatization of the Port of Santos and another R$ 7 billion with the airport auctions, which includes Congonhas Airport.
