“That Uribe and his paramilitaries are cornered as they deserve”: Gustavo Petro

In a video, it is possible to hear how the former mayor of Bogotá makes a recommendation to Uribe, that he dedicate himself to taking care of his grandchildren. But also, questioned some controversial statements that have caused a stir in various political sectors, in which he addressed the paramilitary groups mentioning “a second chance.”

This again fueled the controversy that arose days ago in which his brother Juan Fernando Petro visited Iván Moreno in La Picota prison, convicted of the hiring carousel, and of which days later the militant of the Historical Pact spoke of a “social forgiveness”.

“Uribe and his paracos that are cornered as they deserve”were the first words that Petro used, but moments later the phrase of the controversy would come.

However, Uribismo has condemned these words, to which are added those of the elected senator Isabel Zuleta, in which he affirms that “they burned Sergio Fajardo”, and that later Petro came out in his defense.

On the other hand, some supporters of the candidate, gave a thumbs up to Petro’s words, in which they continue to show their support for the upcoming presidential elections to be held on May 29.
