With an emotional act in the Venezuelan capital, the Mayor’s Office of Caracas and the Government of the Capital District paid tribute to women from various social movements, this in order to celebrate, this coming Sunday, May 8, the Mother’s day.
The Head of Government of the Capital District, Nahum Fernandez, highlighted the courage of Venezuelan women, especially those who have given life to another being. “Brave and fighter women who day by day build, with loving example, the bright future of the prosperous and revolutionary Homeland,” reads part of the tweet.
He added that “for us revolutionaries, the mother is the sign of life and the world revolves around the mother, around life.”
Fernández indicated: «The example rests on her, who else than the mother of the revolutionary movements and the party to give her a treat, how brave are the revolutionary mothers».
