To learn about the real agrarian problem in our country and address solutions, the Ministry of Agrarian Development and Irrigation (Midagri), to date, has registered nearly 250,000 farmers nationwide in the Register of Agricultural Producers (PPA).
According to data provided by the PIADER Project of the Sectoral Project Management Execution Unit (UEGPS), Puno (36,274 people), Huancavelica (28,728), Ayacucho (22,121) and Huánuco (20,831) are the regions with the highest number of farmers and farmers enrolled in the PPA.

In that sense, Midagri hopes to reach 2.2 million registered for “have a real registry on the producers of the field”.
“This will allow the Government to address the national agrarian problems with greater knowledge and propose solutions to their different needs.”, he indicated.
The PPA will offer farmers benefits and services such as agricultural bonuses, credits, training and access to important information to adequately offer their products.
