The president of the Panameñista Party and former presidential candidate, José Isabel Blandón confirmed this weekend his candidacy for the Presidency of the Republic to represent this political group, in the 2023 primaries.
Through a count of tweets on his Twitter account, in commemoration of his proclamation as mayor of Panama City 2014-2019, Blandón ratified his presidential aspirations, ahead of the 2024 elections.
“I keep walking, preparing for the 2024 elections. I will run for the presidential primaries in 2023,” said Blandón.
Today I do not hold a public office, but I have the honor of presiding over a centennial Party. That is perhaps another lesson of this whole process: who perseveres, achieves.
