This was stated by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro Moros, at the meeting with the new National Directorate of the PSUV, the Political Council and the JPSUV, this Thursday from the Teresa Carreño theater in Caracas.

On the other hand, he indicated that the sectoral vice-presidencies must be “put a magnifying glass” to see if they have fulfilled their role. For this reason, he demanded a critical review of these vice-presidencies to find out if their existence is justified.
“I also believe for your evaluation that the territorial vice-presidencies are no longer justified. Before, we justified them by the existence of the Strategic Regions for Comprehensive Defense (REDI), which were nine and were made up of the same number of vice-presidents. But now it will work directly with the National Directorate and the state in question,” said the National President.
In this way, that liaison would be in charge of bringing and carrying information, initiatives, proposals and may be made up of members of the national leadership, of the political command of the Revolution.
Finally, he stressed: “We have the best collective national leadership that this Revolution has ever had, in which we have combined the best leaders, who with a spirit of love and camaraderie and self-demand, we are going to carry out this new National Collective Leadership that It must act as an open door for the entire Venezuelan society.”
