Dina Boluarte: “There have been mistakes, some ministers have not measured up to their portfolios”

The Vice President of the Republic, Dina Boluarteadmitted this Thursday that there were bad elections in some ministries, but stressed that President Pedro Castillo is correcting them, for which he asked not to generate more “political noise.”

“Every day we have a lot of political noise and that has generated uncertainty in investments and others. Some meas culpas, surely yes, there have been some mistakes, as is said by some ministers who have not measured up in their portfolios, but the president is amending them “he expressed.

“Then, let’s give it time because also when one arrives at the ministry from one day to the next, he is not ready to run, he has to start seeing his government plan to work”he added.

On the other hand, boluarte pointed out that the constitutional reform proposal of the Executive to consult on the convening of a constituent Assembly It was carried out based on the request of the population of the entire country.

“Wherever we walk in these Decentralized Councils together with the president, as soon as we arrive at each place, the people ask us for a ‘new Constitution, Constituent Assembly,’ and what we have done is collect what the people are demanding and present it as a project for Congress to debate.”he declared.
