Covid-19: Brazil records 19,725 cases and 195 deaths in 24 hours

Covid-19: Brazil has 29.8 million cases and 658,500 deaths

Since the beginning of the pandemic, Brazil has recorded 664,091 deaths from covid-19, according to the epidemiological bulletin released today (6) by the Ministry of Health. The total number of confirmed cases of the disease is 30,543,908.Covid-19: Brazil records 19,725 cases and 195 deaths in 24 hours

In 24 hours, 19,725 cases were recorded. In the same period, 195 deaths of victims of the virus were confirmed.

Also according to the bulletin, 29,612,822 people have recovered from the disease and 266,995 cases are being monitored.

States

São Paulo leads the number of cases, with 5.41 million, followed by Minas Gerais (3.36 million) and Paraná (2.46 million). The smallest number of cases is registered in Acre (124.9 thousand). Then appears Roraima (155.5 thousand) and Amapá (160.4 thousand).

Regarding deaths, São Paulo has the highest number of deaths (168,334), followed by Rio de Janeiro (73,543) and Minas Gerais (61,377). The lowest number of deaths is in Acre (2,002), Amapá (2,132) and Roraima (2,151).

Vaccination

According to the Ministry of Health, 417.3 million doses of vaccines against covid-19 were applied, 175 million of the first dose and 155.5 million with the second dose. The single dose was given to 4.8 million people.

76.5 million booster shots and 2 million second booster shots were administered. 3.33 million additional doses of the Covid-19 vaccine were also administered.
