Congress will meet on Tuesday, May 10 to elect new magistrates of the Constitutional Court

The of the Republic will meet on Tuesday, May 10 to define the election of the six new magistrates of the Constitutional Court (TC).

On April 18, a total of six lawyers were declared fit to be elected as new magistrates of the TC by the Special Commission formed for that purpose.

After having gone through different evaluations and a personal interview, the applicants must obtain at least 87 votes each in order to be appointed as members of the highest body of justice.

  • Gutierrez Ticse, Luis Gustavo (cumulative score of 88.67).
  • Dominguez Haro, Helder (cumulative score 84.00)
  • Pacheco Zerga, Luz Imelda (cumulative score 83.96)
  • Monteagudo Valdez, Manuel (cumulative score 75.88)
  • Ochoa Cardich, Cesar Augusto (cumulative score 73.32)

Ministers’ Interpellations
