The 14 year old who stabbed three colleagues on Friday morning (6), at a school in the north of Rio, he did not give any warning before committing acts of violence. According to the stepfather of one of the victims, a 14-year-old girl who sat across from him in the classroom, he simply stabbed her in the back, arm and neck.
Then, after the teenager managed to run, he stabbed another colleague in the neck, and even hit, in the back, a boy who tried to immobilize him, applying a tie. The series of aggressions only ended when the English teacher lifted a chair, approached him and called him by name. There, according to reports heard by the young woman’s stepfather, the attacker dropped the knife, calmed down and went to a corner of the room.
“She was sitting across from him. My stepdaughter said she felt a hot deal and ran away. When she looked back, her friend was already on the ground. The boy behind him jumped on her back. He was a true hero”, said the stepfather, who at the time was working with deliveries and received a call from his wife, saying that his stepdaughter had fallen down the stairs at school, only finding out what had really happened when he arrived at the scene.
Police station
Deputy Marcos Henrique de Oliveira Alves, head of the 37th Police Station, informed that the aggressor will be apprehended in flagrante delicto for committing an infraction similar to the crime of attempted murder, doubly qualified, for a futile reason and for the appeal that makes it impossible to defend the victim.
“The aggressor cannot be heard now. He has a psychotic break and is being taken to a hospital. He was in treatment. The mother told us that he had an altered behavior, he was an introspective teenager, who did not talk to anyone in the class. And when he was charged for some demand, he had a disrespectful and aggressive attitude, ”reported the delegate, who heard the three victims on Friday night.
According to Alves, the aggressor’s mother said that he justified having performed these acts because he was being threatened by someone. If he didn’t commit the crime, they would harm him and his family. The teenager, according to the mother, was already being followed up at a Child and Youth Psychosocial Care Center (Capsi).
