Senator Davi Alcolumbre (União Brasil-AP) was hospitalized today (6) with severe pain in the abdomen region. The information was provided by his adviser. The former president of the Senate was admitted to a hospital in Brasília, but the doctors decided to transfer him to São Paulo.
“The press office of Senator Davi Alcolumbre informs that this Friday (6th) the Senator was admitted to a hospital in Brasília with severe abdominal pain and, on medical recommendation, is being transferred to São Paulo, where he will be assisted by the medical team coordinated by the Dr. Ludhmila Hajjar,” said the senator’s office in a statement.
Alcolumbre was president of the House between February 2019 and February 2022. He is currently chairman of the Senate Constitution and Justice Committee.
