The authorities arrested this Thursday morning Stacy Peña alias “La Demente” identified as an accomplice of sexual violation of a minor along with the urban music performer Rochy RD.
According to a source from the East Santo Domingo Prosecutor’s Office, members of the Fugitive and Capture Unit of the judicial body carried out the arrest in a residential complex on Avenida Ecológica.
Peña was a fugitive from the moment the accusation against Aderly Ramírez Oviedo, first name of Rochy RD, for alleged rape of a minor from the Herrera area, was revealed.
Against “La Demente” weighs an accusation filed by the victim’s mother and the Public Ministry for allegedly having taken the minor to the place where the events occurred.
According to the Public Ministry, “Rochy RD” and “La Demente” used strategies as if it were a child prostitution ring, looking for minors and paying RD$10,000 to have sexual relations with the accused.

For the accusation, the judge of the Permanent Court of Santo Domingo Este, Bernardo Coplín, imposed three months of preventive detention as a measure of coercion against the urban exponent.
Law 136-03 punishes abuse against children and adolescents, and in its Article 396, Subsection C, it considers sexual abuse if a child has sexual relations with an adult five years older; even if it is for her own sexual gratification.
