The explosion that destroyed the Saratoga hotel in Havana on Friday left 18 dead and more than 50 injured, according to a new official balance.
“So far, 74 people have been injured, of which 18 we regret their death,” Julio Guerra, head of Hospital Services of the Ministry of Public Health, said at a press conference. But the Cuban presidency gave the figure of 64 injured and 18 dead after the explosion, attributed to a gas leak.
