More and more cancer patients require help for their care. The Arequipa Fight Against Cancer League sees through these situations and, therefore, will develop a public collection to have resources that pay for care in its 21 specialties.
The activity was presented yesterday by the manager Waldor José Llerena Torres; together with Ada Chirinos Apaza, president of the Ladies’ Committee, and counting on the participation of the most outstanding figures of Arequipa from the sports, cultural, musical, artistic and beauty fields, who gathered in the Town Hall of the Provincial Municipality.

The collection will be from May 10 to June 30 in markets, banks, shopping malls, institutions and shops the 2,000 piggy banks donated by the Cerro Verde mining company, which will be carried by students from universities and institutes that have an institutional agreement.
