Infections due to the SARS-CoV-2 virus closed on Thursday at 147 for Cuba, after the Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP) processed 6,083 samples, with 2.4% positivity.
In your share todaythe health authorities did not report deaths from COVID-19 either, for which there are 8,527 fatalities from the pandemic since March 2020, when the first cases were detected on the island.
Of the total positive samples, 131 were contacts of confirmed cases, in nine individuals the cause of the infection was not specified and seven were imported.

Artemisa (25), Camagüey (23) and Havana (20) reported the highest number of infections. All the provinces, and the Isla de la Juventud Special Municipality, identified at least one case.
By age, the group made up of those under 20 years of age continues to be the one with the highest figures in 24 hours, 56 today. The behavior in the remaining groups was as follows: 28 cases between 20 and 39; 15 between 40 and 59 and 48 in those older than 60 years.
According to the MINSAP, 137 clinical discharges were notified and the number of people admitted as a result of COVID-19 totaled 2,548; of these, 613 concern confirmed active cases.
In intensive care rooms the sum of bedridden was 13, three in critical condition and 10 reported as serious.
