The national deputy Máximo Kirchner (Frente de Todos) presented, together with legislators from the trade union branch and social movements, a bill by which he proposes to advance to July all the increases in the Minimum Vital and Mobile Salary (SMVM) scheduled for 2022.

The project proposes that the 45% increase scheduled in March by the Salary Council be charged in August and not in January 2023.

“The evolution of the SMVM is fundamental and acts as a reference for different instances of labor negotiation; it establishes the percentages of increase that update the Unemployment Insurance, set the hourly value for daily workers; and they are taken into account for the updates of the Empower program Work and Progress Scholarships”, explained the deputies in the foundations of the initiative.

Among the signatories of the project are Vanesa Siley, Hugo Yasky, María Rosa Martínez, Sergio Palazzo, Claudia Ormachea, Carlos Ponce, Natalia Zaracho, Federico Fagioli, Verónica Caliva, Pablo Carro, Carlos Cisneros and Juan Carlos Alderete.
