Uruguay continues to be an attractive place in the region to attract investment when compared to its peers. Also for a few years it has emerged as an alternative for retirees, Europeans, Americans, and other nationalities who choose this small, slightly undulating plain in a corner of South America to enjoy their retirement with another air. In addition to the boom in requests for residences and the arrival of Argentines that occurred in the last two years, there is another country in the region that is also strongly targeting Uruguay: Chile.
