Analyze organizational progress

The Minister Secretary of Sports, Fátima Morales, and Minister Hernán Hutteman, this morning led a Technical Meeting with the Country Team for the Asunción 2022 South American Games. The meeting was held at the Palacio de los López, bringing together Focal Points from the different Institutions of the State that will take an active part in the logistics organization of the multidisciplinary sports event to be held in our country.

The meeting was also accompanied by the Minister of the Management Unit, Carmen Marín; the Minister of Youth, Edgar Colmán and the Coordinator of the Asu 2022 Games, Ricardo Deggeller.

The representatives of 26 Public Institutions that are part of the Country Team participated in the work table, among which the Ministries of Finance, Health, Education, Interior, National Defense can be highlighted. Likewise, representatives of the Office of the First Lady, EBY, Itaipu, DIMABEL, Armed Forces, COP, Senatur, the Municipalities of Asunción and Luque, among others, attended.

The South American Games, is the multidisciplinary sporting event that belongs to the South American Sports Organization (ODESUR) and is held every 4 years by a candidate city. And it has the participation of South American countries. some Central American and Caribbean countries

Paraguay receives the continental multidisciplinary event for the first time in its history, making it an unprecedented event for Guarani sports.
