An agreement signed this Wednesday 4 between Inmujeres and Inefop promotes the strengthening of labor skills for women who are in a situation of socioeconomic vulnerability. The objective is to strengthen the intervention capacity through resources and tools so that they generate their own income, through paid work, access to professional training proposals and technical support.
The commitment was signed at the headquarters of the National Institute for Employment and Vocational Training (Inefop), with the participation of its director, Pablo Darscht, and the head of the National Institute for Women (Inmujeres), Mónica Bottero.
The hierarch reported that the agreement is part of the cooperation between institutions as a work modality, for labor inclusion and management of talent in employment. The initiative includes courses for women in vulnerable situations, victims of gender violence, she indicated.
“There are almost 200 participants who were trained in the last two years, and now we are starting a new course process”accurate.
Inefop trains between 30,000 and 40,000 people per year, 60% of whom are women. Darscht considered that there is a challenge to incorporate more into work areas in the area of technology and information technology, in view of which the institute promotes initiatives focused on this sector of the population.
“These are well-paid jobs that allow for interesting development, and there is a lack of numbers in terms of gender”he indicated.
The agreement includes women between 18 and 55 years of age from all over the country, with intermittent trajectories in informal employment or unemployment, with educational lag and difficulties in training and entering the labor market.
