The motorcycle that a young woman had left parked outside her university and, that upon leaving class he realized that it had been stolen, leading to an investigation and subsequent capture of two criminals.
The victim filed the complaint with the Vehicle Theft Prevention Division (Diprove) at around 10:00 p.m. on Wednesdayafter having no sign of his motorcycle and failing to get any footage from the university’s security cameras.
The uniformed men began the search for the motorcycle and in the morning of This Thursday they managed to find her in a motorcycle workshop where they duplicate or make contact keys.
Police officers kept vigil at the scene until a man arrived to pick up the motorcycle. The agents apprehended him on the spot.

The victim, Yalile V., said that the motorcycle thief tried to flee, but after a chase they managed to capture him. He added that the young man, in his defense, told the police that he had bought the motorcycle the night before, however, when he contradicted himself, he was apprehended.

Holguín also said that two other vehicles were recovered, a silver car and a “little bull”, the same ones that will be delivered to their owners.
The new director of Diprove, Colonel Carlos Alcázar, pointed out that the silver vehicle and the bull were stolen in the past, so it was coordinated with other operating units for its recovery. “The technical and alphanumeric part has already been verified, so we are proceeding to return its owners,” he said.
Alcázar assured that reports of vehicle theft will be dealt with promptly, both in the Santa Cruz capital as in the provinces.
