The Public Ministry (MP) will investigate two cases of aggression and bullying registered in the Colegio Teresiano in Caracas and in the Colegio Los Angelitos in Maracaibo, the Attorney General of the Republic, Tarek William Saab, reported on Monday.
He indicated that the Prosecutor’s Office 117 of the Penal System of Adolescent Responsibility was appointed to investigate an act of aggression at the Teresian School of El Paraíso, in Caracas, when a young man hit another in the face several times in a corner of a room .
The fact was witnessed by other young people, all dressed in blue chemise, as evidenced in the video published by Saab on Twitter.
In another event, the Prosecutor announced the appointment of the 31st Prosecutor’s Office with jurisdiction in Adolescent Criminal Responsibility to “punish the events in which an adolescent was the victim of bullying and school abuse” at Colegio Los Angelitos, located in the Raúl Leoni sector of Maracaibo. .
In the video that he shared on his Twitter account, a young woman can be seen being attacked on the school field by another student, who subdues her and forces her to sit next to the wire fence.
On May 1, Saab asserted that the MP will sanction “exemplary” school bullying that generates psychological trauma and school desertion. For this reason, he instructed the attorney generals of the MP to deal with cases of bullying in their respective regions in a timely manner.
