“I could not tell you if we are going to observe the law, without knowing it. We have to read it and make a decision about it. The position of the Executive is to strengthen Sunedu”, he declared to the media outside the Government Palace.

Thus, the President of the Council of Ministers He also reported that education in the country is a fundamental piece for its development.
“We must bear in mind that the development and progress of a country depends on education, on good quality at the initial, primary, secondary and university levels,” he emphasized.
Torres Vásquez added that the level of education in the country is of the “ultimate quality.”

Congressional Approval
On May 4, the Congress of the Republic approved the norm that recomposes the Board of Directors of Sunedu in a second vote, with 69 votes in favor and 39 against.
This initiative had the support of the benches of Free Peru, Popular Force, Popular Action Y People’s Renewal.
