Covid in the DR: one patient in the ICU and 371 active cases

Covid en RD: un paciente en UCI y 371 casos activos

Santo Domingo.- The Ministry of Public Health reported this Wednesday 64 new cases of Covid-19 and zero deaths in the last 24 hours.

According to bulletin number 776, issued by the National Directorate of Epidemiology, the total number of deaths to date remains at 4,376 while the accumulated cases amount to 579,636.

According to the aforementioned report, 371 cases remain active, while 574,889 have recovered from the virus and 2,706,206 have been ruled out by laboratory tests.

In the last 24 hours, 3,129 tests have been carried out, of which 50 are PCR and 3,079 are antigenic for a total of 3,285,842 samples processed.

Daily positivity stands at 2.92%, and in the last four weeks at 1.00%.

The fatality rate is 0.75% and mortality per million inhabitants is 418.82.

The Hospital Network has 2,373 beds covid of which 5 are occupied, for zero percent, while the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) beds are 585 available.

While, of a total of 469 fans, all remain available, which represents zero percent.
