They denounce the existence of family clans in the Foreign Ministry

The former Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs, Luis Morínigo, denounced to Radio Ñanduti that in the Foreign Ministry there are family clans that are putting up obstacles to prevent more people from entering diplomatic careers and that they are in charge of political quotas. He also indicated that the embassies that the country has and the Diplomatic Academy are obsolete.

“They have created a shell so that the common people cannot enter the Foreign Ministry in the diplomatic ranks,” he said. He also pointed out that he considers the fight that some officials are having to enter the diplomatic career fair, however, he indicated that this possibility should be open to all qualified and knowledgeable people.
