The Chamber of Deputies approved on Tuesday night (3) the amendments presented by the Senate to a bill that establishes specific protective measures for children and adolescents victims of domestic and family violence. Text also considers the murder of children under the age of 14 as a heinous crime.
Through the project, the Maria da Penha Law is now taken as a reference in the adoption of protective measures, police and legal procedures and medical and social assistance in relation to cases of violence against children and adolescents.
In these crimes, regardless of the penalty, it cannot be converted into a basic food basket or fine in isolation.
