Business tripartism expressed resounding rejection of the electoral reform initiative presented by President López Obrador and gave full support to the National Electoral Institute in its current formulation. It was announced that each party will present its own counterproposal for electoral reform, but with agreement on six basic points, among them, that there be the possibility of a second round in the presidential election, eliminate overrepresentation in the chambers and annul processes in which organized crime intervenes. .

The proposal to hold primary elections in each of the parties to nominate presidential candidates stands out. It is a loophole that could be of interest to Ricardo Monreal in the event that his possible application does not advance in Morena. The man from Zacatecas has long proposed holding this type of primary election, with an eye on his current party. But, in that case…
