Deforestation in the Brazilian Amazon shoots up to a 15-year high

Deforestation in Brazil’s Amazon rainforest soared 22% in one year up to a maximum since 2006, showed the government’s annual report, despite the fact that the president Jair bolsonaro It has ensured that the country is curbing illegal logging.
