More than 388 thousand people from San Miguelito will benefit from a new polycenter in 2023


The polycenter will provide various health services, in addition to various specialties such as general medical services, internal medicine, dentistry, pediatrics, psychiatry, family medicine, radiology, minor surgery, rehabilitation, physical and language therapy, early stimulation, physiotherapy and others.

More than 388,718 inhabitants of the San Miguelito district will benefit from the new San Isidro health center. Although the work will be delivered in 2023, the health authorities have said that it is already 50% complete.
The polycenter that will have 5 levels has an investment of approximately 25 million dollars and the order to proceed to start construction was delivered in January 2018. According to Yaritzel Ríos, director of the regional health of San Miguelito, 3 of the 5 levels of the polycenter will be for health care and the other two for parking.

Ríos specified that the delivery of the project will take place on May 23 of next year.
The investment for this work includes equipping it with state-of-the-art equipment, so it will be the first of its kind in this district.
