José Antonio Parada Cerpa and Ximena Quijano Hernández were two of the four victims of a violent act that terrorized Mexico and Colombia in February 2020. Both were medical students who had been on duty at the General Hospital of Cholula since last August 2018.
They were killed along with another Mexican student and the Uber driver who took them to a local festival in Puebla that tragic weekend.
At the time of the events, the Puebla Police confirmed the capture of three people who would be presumed responsible for the four homicides.
However, only until March of this year, a trial was initiated against him.
68 years in prison
In the last few hours, Mexican authorities headed by the Puebla State Prosecutor’s Office confirmed a total sentence of 68 years in prison for the murderers of the three students and the driver of the platform.

They specified that based on the evidence obtained, Pablo Jesús N., Ángel N. and Lisset N., “must remain in prison for 50 years for the crime of aggravated homicide and 18 years for aggravated vehicle theft.”
According to what was compiled, the Agent of the Public Ministry «proved the participation of the two men and the woman in the events that had the Colombian students Ximena and José Antonio as victims; Francisco Javier, a student from Veracruz; and the Uber driver of Pueblan origin, Josué Emanuel.
