They reveal resolution of the process of disposal of electricity companies

“Today we see that the Ministry of Finance opens a merit contest to select the investment banking that, among others, will prepare the disposal plan or program of the Nation’s shareholding in companies in the electricity sector among which is the Empresa Electrificadora del Meta ”, warned the senator.

With all this panorama, the senator revealed resolution 2775 of November 11, 2021, by means of which the Ministry of Finance orders the opening of the Open Merit Contest for this purpose.

“We will request the Comptroller General of the Republic, within the framework of its powers of preventive and concomitant control, to accompany this process to ensure that public assets are not affected and that the position of the Meta authorities in the sense to acquire the Nation participation in this very important enterprise for the people of Metenses ”, warned the Senator.

He further said that he will pay special attention to this process so that it is not in front of an ‘express’ way and compliance with the regulations, including the provisions established in Law 2026 of 1995, all this without causing any harm to the inhabitants of the Department of Meta.
