The arrest of the men occurred this week by the municipal police of Tultitlán, because after they found themselves patrolling in the Mariano Escobedo neighborhood, a group of people asked for their support to arrest Jorge “N” and Julio César “N” for his probable participation in the crime of animal abuse.
With the evidence collected and presented to the Agent of the Public Ministry based in Cuautitlán Izcalli, he determined to link them to the process for the crime mentioned in the hearing for the extension of the constitutional term.
However, since it is not a crime that does not warrant preventive detention, as a precautionary measure they must be presented periodically before the State Center for Precautionary Measures, in addition to a period of one month for the complementary investigation.
Neighbors in the area told the authorities who came to the scene that they saw the men leave on several occasions with sacks full of meat. In addition, animal rights activists stated that the meat was sold at a taco stand outside the Tacuba Metro.
