Four linked to the MAS go to the appointment phase of the Ombudsman

Of the seven candidates for Ombudsman authorized for the appointment phase, four are linked to the Movement Towards Socialism (MAS).). Those observed were public servants during the administration of Evo Morales and Luis Arce. In 2015 he returned to the Ministry of Labor; in 2017 he was in the Vice Ministry of Coordination with Social Movements; in 2021 he went to the Caja Petrolera and this year he returned to the Ministry of Labor.

The jurist passed the interview stage with a rating of “good”. In two criteria they considered their answers as “regular”.

Iquise and Machado
He is also a lawyer Ramiro Iquise has been linked to the State since 2009. In 2011 he joined the Ministry of Justice and in 2016 he moved to the Ombudsman’s Office in the city of El Alto as a national consultant on special programs, where he currently works.

Iquise went on to the designation phase with a “good” evaluation” just like Porfirio Machado.
