Senan seizes 350 packages of alleged drugs aboard a ship in Colón

Units of the National Aeronaval Service (Senan), in coordination with the Panama Aeronaval Operations Center (CROAN), located a certain number of bags with alleged illicit substance hidden in containerized cargo mode, on board a ship in a port terminal of the Colon province.

In the container where the alleged illicit was found, it came from San Antonio, Chile, in transit through Panama and with final destination to Barcelona, ​​Spain.

In coordination with the Colón and Guna Yala Drug Prosecutor’s Office, the search and search procedure of the container was carried out, accounting for 7 packages with 350 packages of alleged illicit substance to be determined.

So far this year, the Senan, through the execution of 123 operations, has seized a total of 71,149 packages of illicit substances.
