Banesco, the first bank in the DR to enable services via WhatsApp

In line with its strategy of continuing to integrate technological innovations into its operations and improving the experience of its customers, Banesco Multiple Bank announced a new functionality of its DANI virtual platform that will allow credit card customers to make disbursements of their Multicredit via WhatsApp in an agile and simple way.

With this innovation, the financial intermediation entity offers its users the option of making transactions online and having money available immediately.

“With these new functionalities added to DANI, we have become the first commercial bank in the Dominican Republic to carry out financial transactions such as Multicredit online disbursements via WhatsApp, which for us constitutes a great satisfaction and a commitment to continue innovating and applying continuous improvements in our products and services and, at the same time, make life easier for our customers”, expressed Déiniel Cárdenas, Vice President Channels and IT of Banesco Multiple Bank.

The disbursement process through the platform has security mechanisms to protect customer data, explained the executive, who added that among the requirements to use this function in DANI are: being an existing credit card user and having a active personal checking or savings account at the bank.

With this DANI update, the entity also offers users the opportunity to make claims through this channel. In this way, customers will be able to make their claims in an agile way through Whatsapp, the website of Banesco Multiple Bank or visiting its different branches.

“Banesco becomes a pioneer brand in the banking sector in the use of this channel in the Dominican Republic. We continue to evolve to provide an increasingly personalized, agile and simple treatment for those who use our services”, commented Sofía Guzmán, Marketing and Experience Vice President of Banesco.

Transactions via WhatsApp grow by 56%

As an alternative digital channel, DANI has positioned itself among the favorites of users of the banking entity. An example of this is that transactions via WhatsApp by Banesco clients registered an increase of 56%.

Likewise, it was reported that the level of satisfaction among users of the DANI platform was around 92% during the month of March.

Among the functionalities offered by DANI are facilitating the consultation of account statements and loans, the activation and blocking of cards, receiving urgent assistance, viewing the hours of the different branches of the entity, as well as having 24/7 availability. .
