The Ministry of Information Technology and Communications (MinTIC) and the Directorate of National Taxes and Customs (Dian), signed this Monday a Memorandum of Understanding of digital inter-institutional cooperation, which seeks to integrate the Digital Citizen Folder, the process of the Single Tax Registry (RUT).

Thanks to the signed agreement, Colombians will be able to consult and/or download this document through the Single State Portal www.gov.cowhich provides benefits such as saving time, money and transfers.
Colombians will be able to consult and download the RUT as of May 27, 2022.
“This new procedure allows us to expand the offer of services by entities and provide more benefits to citizens, improving their quality of life. Likewise, with this new procedure we advance in the digital transformation of the State. It is with facts and teamwork that we put technologies at the service of citizens to close the digital divide”, expressed the ICT Minister, Carmen Ligia Valderrama Rojas.

For his part, the general director of the Dian, Lisandro Junco Riveira, said that “Undoubtedly, innovation goes hand in hand with our pillar of closeness to the citizen and the facilitation of services. We recognize the importance of the Citizen Folder because it also contributes to Dian’s transformation plan. We are convinced that only by working in a coordinated manner as a team, we will be able to maintain the roadmap for an agile and efficient State”.
Additionally, the Memorandum of Understanding allows the exchange of data to improve the provision of the service and guarantee reliable sources of information for an effective fulfillment of institutional functions, as well as the adoption of the digital government policy through the implementation of Digital Citizen Services. .

DIGITAL CITIZEN FOLDERS PROCEDURES
Through the Digital Citizen Folder, today citizens can access 23 procedures, corresponding to 19 public entities, all digitally:
1. National Cadastral Certificate – Agustín Codazzi Geographical Institute (IGAC).
2. Consultation of driving license history – Ministry of Transport.
3. Certificate of fiscal responsibility background – Comptroller General of the Republic.
4. Consultation of public entities and resume of State contractors – Administrative Department of Public Function (DAFP).
5. Certificate of legalization of higher education documents – Ministry of Education.
6. Background check of social workers – National Council of Social Work.
7. Registration certificate and professional card registration – National Council of Social Work.
8. Statement of parafiscal contributions accounts – Colombian Institute of Family Welfare (ICBF).
9. Identification information of the patients of Bogotá Salud Digital – District Secretary of Health of Bogotá.
10. Consultation of Income and Withholdings for Income from Work and Pensions for civil servants – Ministry of Information Technologies and Telecommunications (MinTIC).
11. Labor certificate of civil servants – Ministry of Information Technologies and Telecommunications (MinTIC).
12. Certificates and Transcripts – National Learning Service SENA).
13. Certificates of Labor Competence – National Learning Service SENA).
14. Appointment resolution for officials – Ministry of Information Technologies and Telecommunications (MinTIC).
