The organismeven issued an orange alert in the City of Buenos Aires, since according to the forecasts of the NMStoday the precipitation will be accompanied by intense storms.
Besides, the NMS warns that falling trees and hail could occurso it is recommended not to do outdoor activities and take shelter in safe places.
Although initially the meteorological alert was issued to 9 provinces, it was extended to 14, given that in addition to the rains, there will also be snowfall and strong gusts of wind.
Even in some areas of the country, the winds could reach 110 kilometers per hour; for your part snowfall is expected in Neuquén, Río Negro and Mendoza, where the snow will reach 60 cm in height.
Heavy rains are expected today in the province of Buenos Aires, where accumulated precipitation values between 30 and 60 millimeters are expected, so the area remains on orange alert.
Meanwhile, other provinces such as Catamarca, La Rioja, Salta, San Juan and Tucumán remain on yellow alert due to a strong wind that will hit this area of the country strongly.
