EU warns Musk-owned Twitter that it will have to adapt to European rules

Breton prepared this new European legislation with the Competition Commissioner, Margrethe Vestager.

Elon Musk promised more freedom on Twitterwhich has sparked a lively debate about the future of the social network.

Some worry about a platform that could become more toxic.

Musk, however, has acknowledged that there are limits imposed by law.
