They warn of possible rain with storms until 11:59 on Saturday, April 30

A surveillance notice in the presence of rains with electrical storms throughout the country was issued by the etesa hydrometeorology department.
This notice will be effective from today, Monday, April 25, until 11:59 p.m. on Saturday, April 30.

According to meteorologist Emmanuel Velázquez, the regions that will be affected by the rains with storms are Bocas del Toro, Chiriquí, the Emberá Wounaan region, Guna Yala, Ngäbe Buglé, Veraguas, Darién, Panamá, Panamá Oeste, Coclé, Herrera, Los Santos, maritime and mountainous sectors of the Caribbean and Pacific.

In addition, flash flooding of rivers and possible flooding in vulnerable areas of urban and rural regions are expected.

Velázquez assured that the low pressure systems of the trough axes and the intertropical convergence zone are modulating, inducing the weather conditions over our country, which produces these rainy events with storms.
