SANTO DOMINGO.- The request for preventive detention by the Public Ministry against the urban music performer Aderly Ramírez Oviedo (Rochy RD), accused of sexual assault against a minor.
As for the mother of the 16-year-old adolescent, linked to the case, Judge Bernardo Coplín, of the Judicial Office of Permanent Attention Services of Santo Domingo Este, imposed an economic guarantee on her for five thousand pesos and issued an order of protection that forces the woman to stay away from the victim.
The judicial body reported that the Unit for Attention to Gender, Intrafamily Violence and Sexual Crimes of the Santo Domingo Este Prosecutor’s Office deposited the requests for coercive measures on Saturday night after the arrest of the accused by court order in the course of the investigation of the complaint of the case.
In the instances, the Public Ministry requested the imposition of the coercion measure against Ramírez Oviedo and the woman after obtaining different evidence on the commission of the crime.

According to the authorities, the attack against the young woman took place in a villa in the eastern part of the capital.
The victim’s mother is accused of incurring physical and verbal aggression against the teenager, among other crimes.
The investigations of the case have yielded different testimonial, expert, procedural, documentary and audiovisual evidence with which the persecuting body supported the request for coercion and that the date for knowledge of the advance of evidence be set before the interview center of the Power Judicial (Gessel Chamber), for minors.
