In Bermúdez’s opinion, the mayor of the capital is making a serious mistake by calling a march against the right of citizens to demonstrate, through the collection of signatures for the beginning of the process of recalling the mandate.

Likewise, Bermúdez recommended to the mayor of the capital to rethink his strategy of confronting citizens through a march, while showing his concern about the disconnection of Fábrega in relation to the needs of the capital district and its citizens.

Bermúdez’s statements were made this Monday morning, when he went to the headquarters of the Electoral Court to sign in favor of the recall process against Mayor Fábrega, with the aim of sending a message of support to the citizens of the district. of Panama: “You are not alone, nor will we accept intimidation or threats that violate the right of people to express their disagreement with the current municipal administration.”

The Don Bosco councilman defended the right of citizens to express, through the collection of signatures, their disapproval of a mayoral administration that does not represent them.
