Dragging a package that supposedly only had used clothes, gave away a traveler from Lima when he arrived at the national land terminal Manuel A. Odría de la city of Tacna. The Police arrested Jesús Díaz Saldaña, who arrived on a bus from the Transportes Moquegua company, at approximately 8 a.m., along with fifty people.

The head of the Tacna Police Region Luis Olivero pointed out that the Police officers were carrying out a routine identity control and package registration operation when they noticed that an individual was carrying very heavy luggage, even dragging it on the ground.
Marijuana “balls”
The agents’ expertise made him suspicious and they asked him what he was wearing, to which he replied that it was used clothing, something that did not seem to match. Thus, the officers felt the luggage feeling the heavy and hard objects. Upon reviewing it, they found five packages of heavily pressed marijuana, which yielded a weight of 5 kilos with 415 grams.

Apparently the drug was later going to be transferred to Chile through unauthorized steps, with Tacna being a transit city, which is ratified by the capture of seven people last weeksaid the officer.
