Banco BHD León announced its new business proposal for “Green Credits”, financing at competitive rates, exclusively for the acquisition of goods that reduce the environmental impact of Dominican micro, small and medium-sized companies.
In addition to financing, the financial entity will provide advice and support to clients who access Green Credits, on issues such as decision-making on the responsible use of resources, the management of benefits by adopting sustainability measures and the taking advantage of the best energy efficiency opportunities on the market.
Luis Lembert, Executive Vice President of Personal and Business Banking at Banco BHD León, said that, “at BHD León we always look for better proposals that promote good ideas from our clients in a responsible manner. By supporting MSMEs in this way, we are adding value to their ideas based on our sustainability strategy, which combines the social, economic and environmental vision of our entity ”.
Francisco Guzmán, vice president of the SME Segment of Banco BHD León, explained that, “as an entity, we believe that having assets that allow sustainability should not be a luxury reserved for large companies. It is a good that brings benefits for the entire society in the long term. For this reason, Credits Verdes BHD León, more than a financial facility, is a commitment to the development of the country ”.
This new offer includes financing for the purchase and installation of solar panels, energy efficient equipment, electric cars, solar water heaters, among others.
Also facilities for cleaner production, focused on farming projects, recycling plants, filters for factories and biodigesters.
