President Alberto Fernández closed a provincial pre-congress of the Evita Movement that was held at the National University of San Martín, where he spoke in favor of “those who earn the most being those who contribute the most” and “those who have the least receive what they deserve” .

“When we came to the Government, the popular economy lacked tools to develop” and “now we are giving it those tools so that it can demonstrate its full potential,” the head of state stated before the Buenos Aires delegates of the social organization.

He also pointed out that the national government is focused on “those who earn the most are those who contribute the most and those who have the least receive what they deserve.”

In another section of the speech, the president said: “We have a great challenge ahead of us, which is, once and for all, to institutionalize the popular economy and we are working on that.”

On the other hand, Fernández said that the agreement reached by the national government with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) “did not take place within an adjustment framework” and added: “We are not a government that adjusts, we are a government that invests and help those who have less as we did with the exceptional increase”.

The general secretary of the Evita Movement, Emilio Pérsico; the Secretary of Parliamentary Relations of the Headquarters of the Cabinet of the Nation and referent of the organization, Fernando “Chino” Navarro, and members of the national and provincial table of that space.

In addition, the mayor of Moreno, Mariel Fernández, and the national deputy Leonardo Grosso attended, the Evita Movement reported in a statement.

At the closing of the congress, Pérsico affirmed that “in 2023 the only alternative for workers is that we re-elect a government of the Frente de Todos.”

For his part, Grosso ratified that next Sunday, May 1, a “great mobilization” will take place on the occasion of Labor Day.

“The expression of workers is necessary, both formal wage earners and those of the popular economy, that union will be embodied in the march and it is the same one that will fight for a salary and economic recovery,” Grosso told the speak on the spot.
