Deaths and daily covid infections in Colombia fell again

After a couple of days staying above 40, daily deaths from covid-19 in Colombia fell to 24, According to the report delivered by the health authorities this holiday Monday, November 15.

Of those deaths, 23 occurred on different days.

With the most recent deaths, the country already accumulates a total of 127,833 due to the pandemic.

Contagions they also went down and 2,321 were reported, after processing 35,337 samples (21,784 of PCR and 13,553 of antigens).

Now, the country accumulates 5’034.266 infections between March 2020 and this Monday, which have resulted from analyzing 27’429.312 tests.

As for recovered, there are 4,874,808 and active cases of the virus are 14,455.

And the places in the country with the most infections are still Bogotá (1,458,619), Antioquia (762,233), Valle del Cauca (413,838), Atlántico (335,094) and Cundinamarca (265,538).

Regarding vaccination, with a cut-off to November 13, 61,195,314 doses against the coronavirus had been distributed and 51,635,894 had been applied. And the number of fully immunized people, with one or two doses, was 22,871,678.

Worldwide, 253,706,531 people have been infected with coronavirus and 5,104,959 have died.
