In a farm in the Farallones district, 40 minutes from the urban area of Ciudad Bolívar, Southwest Antioquia, three people were killed with a firearm. According to the first investigations, armed men arrived at the property and shot the occupants.
Some leaders in the area indicated that the fatalities are a renowned agricultural manager, his wife and daughter, although the authorities have not yet confirmed their identities or their ages.

In dialogue with this medium, the Secretary of Government of the municipality, Luis Felipe Sepúlveda, lamented this violent act that mourns Ciudad Bolívar and said that the authorities are advancing in the investigations to capture those responsible.
“Everything is a matter of investigation. There was a triple homicide on a farm in the Farallones district. At the moment, it is the information we have. The Sijín and the Police are carrying out the respective investigations to clarify this unfortunate event that occurs in a rural area, at the La Girardot farm (…). Apparently, people entered and shot those who run the farm “, the official pointed out.

According to local authorities, in the area there is interference from the Clan del Golfo and La Oficina, although it is still not clear who would be responsible for the triple homicide.
The Antioquia Police Command confirmed that the commander of the unit, Colonel Daniel Mazo, went to the place together with the other authorities.
With this case, There are 14 massacres that occurred this year in Antioquia, according to the Social Guarantee Process. The most recent violent event occurred on October 17 in Betania, southwest of the department, where five people were murdered.
